Description
We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join us on a full-time basis. You will work closely with our technical team to design, maintain, and optimize robust backend systems. Your primary focus will be on our SaaS platforms, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
This is a strategic role for a developer who understands that writing code is just one part of the equation—architecture, maintainability, and performance are equally critical.
Key Responsibilities:
SaaS Architecture: Design and implement scalable multi-tenant architectures using Laravel, ensuring data isolation and security for all tenants.
Core Development: Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices to support complex business logic.
Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and improve performance in existing systems (database optimization, caching strategies, queue management).
Code Quality: Enforce best practices through code reviews, automated testing (PHPUnit), and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaboration: Work effectively with frontend developers and product managers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Requirements
Experience: 4+ years of experience in backend development, with at least 3 years focused on Laravel.
SaaS Expertise: Proven experience architecting and building SaaS applications (Multi-tenancy implementation is a must).
Technical Stack:
Strong proficiency in PHP 8.x and Laravel 10/11.
Deep knowledge of SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and database design.
Experience with Redis, Queues, and Horizon.
Familiarity with server management (Nginx, Docker, AWS/DigitalOcean) is a strong plus.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, clear communication, and the ability to manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
